Learn Reiki
I teach two forms of Reiki:
non-traditional Usui Reiki (levels I and II) and Karuna Reiki (levels I and II). I also offer training programs for those who wish to teach Reiki.
Levels of Reiki
In non-traditional Usui Reiki, there are three degrees or levels of dedication. With the first degree attunement, the energy flows automatically through the giver like an electric current, treating both giver and receiver alike. This level is performed in close contact either as a "laying on of hands" or just above the body.
In a first-degree Reiki class you learn how to: perceive ki, create and focus an intention, hand placement, both for yourself and others.
The second-degree allows you to amplify the energy and send it over great distances. In a second-degree Reiki class you learn three symbols. The first increases the flow of energy, clears negativity and improves productivity. The second symbol eases emotional distress, while the third symbol sends energy over a distance, or "absentee," to a person, pet or plant in disharmony or distress. This symbol can also send Reiki into a situation such as finding a new job, or into a future event such as a baby’s birth or an upcoming exam.
The third degree of Master Teacher is for those who have a dedication to teach. In this course, you learn how to convey the principles of Reiki, its history, the perception and movement of ki, and how to address students’ different learning styles. To become a Karuna Master, you must already be a Master Teacher of Usui Reiki (either traditional or non-traditional). Master trainings are negotiated individually.
I can create a Reiki class for two or more people, at a time and date convenient for you. Perhaps your entire office, clinic or circle of friends would be interested.

Reiki II is a prerequisite for beginning training in Karuna Reiki. The skills learned in a Reiki class, including energy perception and setting and working with an intention, are life enhancing.
